- STAGE MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE ACROSS MACEDONIA
“SUN CIRCLE”
Mountain bike is a sport in great expansion. Project team of the Mountain Bike Race, lead by wish and also of objective reality suitable in Macedonia for development of this sport, but also and tourism, who represent a great possibility for presentation of the country in front of the world’s public, we create a project who encompass almost completely whole territory on Republic of Macedonia. Mountain bike in Macedonia is still on the beginning, but is very popular between the young generation, who enterprisingly drive extemporary tracks.
This is a project, which in accord with the concept, it must takes hold in 14 stages, it will be shown in one of the most famous world wide sports medium. Tracks of the stages it’s going to pass cross or beside the most representative cultural, architectural, archaeological, natural and geological beauties of the country.
For implementation of this project it will use already existing mountain and country roads. Financial resources are going to be invest in maintenance of the tracks during the year, to be visited by the bike tourists. This infrastructure it is going to be used and for the other outdoor activities (walking, camping, winter sports, nature-watching etc)
